that's always the same tho' with riots.. It doesn't matter whether people live in the immediate area or not, the government should be taking great interest in WHY this is happening.. in why so many of the public are up in literal arms ...remember we also had a HUGE protest march in London at the weekend as well... about immigrants...and crime

I always felt Europe should not have allowed waves of immigrants who can't/won't assimilate. Europe is not set up for this, IMO. European countries have rich, Western histories and are due credit for creating what we Westerners call "Civilization."

United States equipped for diversity, Europe is not. I lived in Europe well before the waves of immigration, and decided what I wrote then, not after, the actual events. Europe is Europe, and, IMO, should remain that way.

Welll said .. this is precisely what outsiders don't understand. It's not that we don't welcome Immigration. Goodness when I was a child.. there what seemed to be a third Scots, a third Irish, and a Third Italian.. no-one caused anyone problems.. we all lived together in harmony...why ?.. because when in Rome do as the Scots do and everyone lived happily together..

Now... the immigrants create Ghettos and hatred caused by the crime , and the filth... ... and we have whole towns where white or indigenous British people can't or won't go .. that's so wrong.. so, so wrong !

Can you please share where this "fact" is coming from? The police have consistently said he was born in the UK. In your post #47, you report this: "The 17-year-old boy was born in Cardiff after his family moved from the African nation - then moved north to Merseyside about ten years ago."
 
On a British forum I used to be on, there was a woman whose job was to drive people to medical appointments, in the Somerset area, a place I am most fond of. Most fond of. Doesn't begin to describe my love for Somerset, to me the Greenist place I have ever been to. Anyway, one day she was driving an immigrant who boldly told her his people will take over England. This was over 10 years ago. Upset to hear this story, very upset. As you can see, I have not forgotten it!

well it's what's happening that's for sure. I wish I had never returned to the Uk from Spain.... I could go and live there again, but I'd rather not on my own... but if we start to get the same type of problems here where I live ..I'll have to seriously think about it..

My reference had has nothing to do with "Immigrants children" as you now put it. You didn't mention immigrants children in the post I was asking about. Don't twist your own words to ignore the question.

What part of your own statement, the one below that referring to, don't you understand?

No I don't like it there... and it's certainly not the greenest... I was just reading the liverpool echo last night.. crikey even in London we don't get that amount of reported crime.. One guy got off with shooting someone in the head and killing him over a £500 debt.. Nope I don't like Liverpool..

I agree, Holly, I was kidding, Merseyside is far from being the greenest place in the UK, but the place has some of the most kindest people you will find anywhere.
I look out of my windows and look across the Mersey towards Liverpool, I like the view, and I do like their Scouse accent. 😊

Very little at the moment, other than he is a 17 year old. Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said the 17-year-old suspect was born in Cardiff.

His name hasn't been released due to legal protections for minors. When he turns 18 his name can be realised, or, I think, earlier if a judge gives authorisation?

I think its likely to be an offense for a member of the public to post the name of a minor involved in criminal proceedings on social media. In the UK, under the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999, it is illegal to publish any information that could lead to the identification of a juvenile suspect, defendant, or witness involved in criminal proceedings. This includes their name, address, or school, as well as any information that could lead to their identification. Violating this restriction can result in legal consequences.

The 'alleged' name of the 17 year old is doing the rounds in social media. I won't post that name here. But it seems to me that his first name might give a clue to a particular religion, and his alleged family name seems to be South Asian. In reality, the name bouncing around social media might not even be is name. As I'm sure you are aware, speculation without substance is rife in any subject where social media is involved. Sometimes we only have to look through this forum to see the amount of speculation going around.
