It didn't last because there were always plenty of people like you to remind them that you thought they were ugly, just in case all the movies and TV shows hadn't got that message across to them. Heaven forbid they feel good about themselves for a few minutes.
I'll bet you make fun of cancer patients, too. Maybe you'd like to find some pictures of cancer patients who have lost their hair and tell us how terrible they look. Then you can wonder aloud how they could have allowed themselves to get cancer when there's so much information around about it.

To combat this, it’s suggested to add a protein to every meal you have and keep simple carbs down to a minimum. Protein keeps your cravings down, creates a feeling of fullness and helps keep your blood sugar balanced. It also can help with moodiness.

I know people’s comments can be harsh and unfair at times but I think what we tell ourselves is probably far worse. Like yourself, I have low thyroid that’s been left untreated but I am determined to change that in order to help my body metabolize the foods I eat.
