Been laying awake for hours, so, here I am. I'm going out tomorrow to Ikea and a couple of other places with daughter, so, I need to get some sleep! Looked out the window, and see snow on the ground, and the forecast says there's more snow showers to come.

So you won't be jumping in the pool, Pinky? It's been raining heavily overnight here in the UK, or at least it has in Southern England. My driveway does a good impression of a pool but I won't be jumping into it. Maybe the frogs might enjoy it, but given the time of year they will have found somewhere to hibernate.

Almost 4:30 AM. I napped late yesterday so I'm up now. Just had a sausage sandwich. Doggie is snoozing next to me.

Still waiting for my car to be done with repairs. I hope it's done by Saturday. I don't like fixing an old beater but feel I have no choice since I can't buy another one. And it gets too cold here to be walking places.

This is Ruby, she has always been petite, she's such a dear.
She's called Ruby because she joined us as a tiny kitten on
our Ruby wedding anniversary. She's fifteen now and we do
hope that she, and we, celebrate our diamond anniversary
four years from now. Wouldn't that be something?

I'll tiptoe so I don't wake you, @Pinky I've been up and "tiptoeing" around for hours now and it's still only 5:15 but at least I slept until 2:30 this time instead of 1:30! We're expecting about an inch of snow today, too.. hope it doesn't stick around too long!
