Anyone Famous Or Infamous In Your Family Tree?

Thought of 2 more:

Niall of the Nine Hostages, a 5th century or so Irish king. This one is from my DNA thing, it seems most people of Irish descent can claim pretty much the same. Lots happens in 1,500 years.

Ivy Wingo, was married to my great aunt. He was a ball player for the St. Lewis Cardinals and the Cincinnati Reds, played 17 seasons from 1911 to 1929. He still holds the major league record for most career errors by a catcher, a somewhat dubious honor...

I had quite a few, Abraham Lincoln was my 6th cousin 6x removed. Then when I went much farther back I had a number of queens and kings though many of them were born out of wedlock. It has been an interesting project though I am taking a break from it right now. Many were well known in my part of the country, soldiers especially and ancestors who helped settle NY.

My cousin Len is obsessed with our ancestry. It said we are related to Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy's mother's last name was Iacono, which was my maiden name. Jimmy has a cousin named Sal Iacono who has a son named Frank. My brothers name is Sal Iacono and his son is named Frank. Weird!

I think most if not all people if they trace back far enough will find royalty. In my case King Ethelred. Grandma told me that if grandpa went back to England he would be a lord, however when my aunts and uncles were young they ran into some cousins who told them that story. On arriving home they greeted their father with "My Lord", grandpa responded with "I hoped you would never hear about that. We are eating beans and we are going to keep eating beans!".
