My late husband used to say what a remarkable range Elvis had. When we saw Elvis in Vegas, my hubby was not too happy with the singing being so loud the booths were vibrating!Definitely not an Elvis fan, although I have been to his mansion. I really wouldn't call his house in Graceland a mansion. It's not very big for a mansion, but whatever. The best part of the tour for me was the car barn. I think he appealed more to the female audiences than the males. I will say that he did have a great voice.
What a great interview! Thanks for sharing. You can tell by the depth of his voice how he could so closely imitate Elvis.Check out what Austin Butler has to say about playing Elvis.

I took the trial for 30 days. The commercials are so short, and as soon as you see the white cancel in the lower right corner, you can press the OK button to stop it.Funny this thread should appear today when I'm wearing my Sun Studio t-shirt that I got when I visited Memphis some twenty years ago.
The movie got good reviews... 7.7 on IMDB, so it's probably worth watching. I won't be going to a theater to see it or any movie for that matter. I have a decent entertainment system at home. While not quite theater quality and the popcorn isn't quite as good, it's much, much more comfortable and a hell of a lot cheaper. And I don't need to leave the house.
So I'll stream it when it's available for streaming, if I subscribe to that particular streaming service. There are too many damn options these days! And I just got rid of Netflix. All I have is Amazon Prime. I'm thinking about subscribing to YouTube, which will eliminate commercials for YouTube videos and I'll be able to watch videos on that platform, although the movies seem to have a price tag associated with them, so maybe you have to pay extra for each movie you watch.
If anyone uses YouTube for subscription movies, please post how it works.![]()
He appealed to me and a great many of the folks I grew up around, including those who worked for my pa, and I don't even think his acting was all that bad in G.I. Joe, and as far as singing and stage presence I'd say sensational and will never be beaten, (so that goodDefinitely not an Elvis fan, although I have been to his mansion. I thought maybe the subscription includes commercial free movies. $11.99 is too much just to eliminate the ads. While they can be annoying, I might pay $5.00 a month to get rid of them, but not $12.00.I took the trial for 30 days. $11.99 per month to me, is not worth stopping a few very brief ads. I cancelled the trial after a few days, but they let you keep it for the entire 30 days.
It's better for music playlists.
It is so annoying that all these "free streaming" sites are charging for some movies or run ads for others.

I saw it today, and same as your experience a lot of the audience was older (a sea of gray hair and tottering people not sure how to recognize their assigned seat and having trouble in the dim lighting - I felt so so at home).I saw it today at one of our "boutique" theaters that shows mostly Indie films. Most of the patrons were in their 70's and 80's, so they could really relate.
