You do NOT add ice to a single malt. There are only two things you add to a single malt - a little spring water or more malt.

um yea I saw this coming. I bought a set of Glencairn Glasses for having a wee dram of the single malt.

I would have a blended scotch with ice & club soda, but not in the presence of a Scotsman. 😉
 
Okay I've got another since Hollydolly was already claimed. This is near the place on Skye where Iain McGilchrist, who wrote my favorite books The Master and His Emissary as well as The Matter With Things, lives. I've seen a video showing some of his garden
