Are You A Well Known Individual On The Forum?

I was very well known in HS but learned that everyone knew or wanted to know what you were doing/who you were going with to an extent that could limit your freedom in the face of expectations. For example, putting a smoke bomb in the fire station manned by a incompetent chief and his nepotistic family would have run afoul of the image and expectations for my buddy and I. People wondered when we were seen in the area that night and the lesson was learned.
 
The other day my wife and I were sitting and reading, I guess I looked and thinking I must want something she asked, “what do you want?” an old song came to my head and I replied,

“I wanta’ be rich and famous….”

With out a blink she said, “you’re famous enough.”
 
I'm not "famous" but I have a web presence and a fan base because of my music. I'm a composer and recording artist. I've gotten airplay on various internet stations and was chosen as one of the top 100 artists on Aussie.com based in Brisbane Australia (at least once that I know of). Some SF members know about my website and my music. My music is on Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify and other streaming-download platforms as well as on You Tube. Because of my web presence I don't mix my screen name and real name on forums, except by private messages. Search engines use something called botnets. They crawl the internet and pick up tidbits of information about people. Sometimes they'll use quotes or include a "tidbit" that's attributed to the person but wasn't actually said by that person, but someone the person is affiliated with somehow. I use my real name on Facebook because unlike here on SF, I never engage in financial discussions or things that are too personal.
