Are you bar of soap person or a fru-fru body wash person?

I love that fru fru body wash line. I've never heard that before.

I've used both body washes and bar soaps and find I prefer homemade bar soap so that is what I buy from small soap maker/sellers on Etsy or Ebay.

Makes great lather, easy to rinse off both body & bath sponges.

Shower mit with either gel or shower cream. There was an Israel brand called Cherry Blossom. The second one is by Imperial Leather Honey Fragrance and the latest one which is amazing, is Neroli and Ginger.

Haven't been able to take baths for over 5 years now, my back is too bad, nowadays, so it's exclusively showers.

We haven't used any bar soaps since the Pandemic. Everything is in battery powered dispensers for our hands. Shower products are in pumps. No more goey wet bars...

I use the olay bars for the shower, foam pump liquid soap in the kitchen, regular pump liquid soap for bathroom sink.

The only body wash I've tried was whatever is in the dispensers in the showers at the pool, which did not impress me.

But I have noticed in the store that the body wash section is large, so I guess this thread might motivate me to try it to see if I like it. Maybe body wash runs out less frequently than bar soap? I hate it when I get in the shower and discover I've only a small fragile piece of bar soap left.

I am the bar of soap type. I tried liquid soap once. That took too long to get out of the bottle and then to rinse off. As for scent it makes no difference because it is soon gone. One thing I like about bar soap is that I use the moisturizing type which has some oil in it. Summer heat and sun which is nearly all year in my location, tends to dry out my skin and makes it crack and peel.

When I was younger I used dishwashing detergent. That took off the grit and grease much easier - one application and done. I never liked bathing. Men usually don't and put it off for as long as possible.
You're singing my song, Robb.

Gotta be bar soap. Crown to toes, scrub, shampoo, and shave, it's the all-in-one tool.

All adult life have used the white Ivory bar soap. Low trust with consumer chemical body products. Close to minimal soap ingredients with little fragrance since my clean skin oddly has very little odor. I can wear a pair of socks all week and they still smell near fresh. At 75 now, my skin outside hands that are often in sun, still looks amazing though am starting to notice slight wrinkling.

If you wipe down all the surfaces of your shower with your wet towel when done toweling off there will be no buildup.
Yes, I'm aware of this but, I don't really want to have to wipe down every drop of water in the shower after a bath.....thanks Robb, but I'll stick with body wash.

I started buying an inexpensive Bodywash for my Renters at Publix Grocery Store and ended up loving it for myself as well. It has a lovely light scent and a mild grittiness for 100% natural exfoliant...very mild. Cost is about $3 at Publix...BUT...if you buy online the price is all over the place. One price was 5X higher.
