Are you lovable?

I'm absolutely not lovable. My cats like me, so that's something I guess.

If I go to someone's home and they have a cat ,they always purr around my legs and almost trip me up ,I'd like to have a cat but hubby"s eyes get all red and water ..We have had dogs in the past and they always looked up to me a happily greeted me but that's more than likely because I fed them ..My last dog Middie who passed quite a while ago

Middie was such a cutie pie, Kadee. :) We had a Yorkie, that was small and looked just like your Middie. Looking at your picture, brought back a lot of memories. Pixie was quite a character....she would attack the vacuum cleaner when I was using it, and as small as she was, she would bite big dogs legs when I would take her for a walk, and luckily they would just stare like they didn't know what she was supposed to be. I was always scared they were going to eat her. We were blessed to have her for many years.

Now I'll have to think about this awhile. It seems the real question here is: If animals aren't crazy about you, are you still a lovable person? :) I think I am more loveable than my husband is and yet all animals are crazy about him and love him to death. Including cats and dogs we see on walks (he stops and talks to them) and dogs sticking their heads out of parked cars or cars at intersections or in the back of pick ups. My own dogs love me but I am not a big animal person. I have to hurry here and leave for a few hours, so I'll think about this today. Am I lovable? I'm not sure. Also I am not a fashion plate and never have been so I'm not sure how that fits in here either. I am writing this sort of tongue in cheek and don't mean to offend anyone, but it is my first thoughts on this subject.

You don't have to love animals or dress like a fashionista to be lovable Linda. This will differ from person to person because we're not all the same.

That's something I miss from my old job. There were a bunch of huggy people, and with some it was a standard greeting any time you crossed paths. I'm a bit shy in social situations so it was delightful to have folks just spontaneously give you a needed bear hug. But with companion animals yes I'm very popular. Cats especially and bigger dogs...Small dogs are a bit hesitant sometimes. Maybe they smell all of our house creatures and it spooks them? But I'll walk up to the most imposing looking mutt and get them wagging.

Huggy people are usually friendly people. I have a very huggy friend and always feel better about myself and the whole world after we've spent some time together. I enjoy getting and giving hugs too. You can't always do that with humans because they might be repelled by it. Animals almost always love it.

Misty we always called Middie a miniature Alsatian dog as she had the idea ,she was as big as them..if we happened to be out the front of the house and she was out there with us she would approach any BIG dogs that happened to be walking down the street ,how she never got bitten by them amazed us ..The big dogs would just look at her with a big frown as if to say yeah and what are you gong to do nip me on the heels ...She was so fussy food wise she refused to eat dog food from 5 weeks old when we got her ,She passed when she as 14 years old ..we had her cremated and scattered her ashes where she loved to dig in my garden She was a pure bred silky terrier

I beg to differ Imp.......I find you very lovable........maybe even a little cute and hugable.

Damn I knew that wearing that makeup yesterday would probably have a side effect or maybe it's just the scotch I'm sipping on..........I just feel so confused.

Hubby and all of my furkids have always loved me. When we're out camping in the wilderness, lots of birds and wild animals seem to come around me to visit, and dogs at the park run up to me for pets like I'm an old friend,...so guess I'm lovable (enough anyway). :)

Were any of those birds ravens?? I find them to be brave, smart, and curious and unafraid of humans. Lovely birds to watch and be watched by. Animals sense when a human is respectful and gentle. I'm sure your wilderness furbabe aquaintances adore you.
You're a most lovable lady. It's a pleasure to know you. :)

For some reason butterflies love me. They flutter around, and occasionally land on me. Wasps like me also. My son calls me the wasp whisperer because they leave when I ask them too--ever since I picked blackberries in a patch filled with them.

White, Anglo Saxon. Protestant. We had a good run but demographics, at least here, is bringing it to an end...
