Are you pleased with your current weight?

I'd be happy with 190. I was 202 this morning.

As for 168, I just liked that scene in on the Waterfront. I blew through 168 in the 9th grade and haven't been anywhere near that since.

I got down to 190 a couple of years ago which is the same weight that I was when I was 18. However the distribution had changed somewhat. :(
How tall are you?

I lost about 10 kg in 2013 and have mostly kept it off since then. went from 72 kg to 62 kg which was my goal - last couple of years have been sitting at 65 - little bit over goal but close enough.
that gives me a BMI of 23 - 24

I wish we had the metric system. It's a sign of an advanced civilization. But no. instead we have this stupid system based on the length of the foot of some long dead King in the Middle ages. :(

Yesterday, at 65.5 inches (166.4cm) weight had dropped to 134 pounds, (60.8kg). After a 3 day weekend of binging, weight went up to 140# briefly that was mostly due to liquid, (especially added sugar into lemonade) that happens to me all the time but is quickly lost in a few days. This BMI ~22 person, is about 2 pounds under my usual weight as have lost some upper body muscle mass due to lack of upper body exercise after my upper body surgery May 1. Since I will carrying up in mountain wilderness about 55 pounds of gear backpacking in about a week, expect that will increase a bit.

My highest ever weight was at age 55 at 145# after working 5 years at a corporation with subsidized cafeterias with lots of usual meat lunches so many others tend to eat. That also apparently caused my finger arthritis that hasn't worsened since I stopped eating regular red meat. One strong reason for never gaining excessive weight that young people should consider is that when those that do reach senior ages, their inner skin structures do not easily reduce, that can result in ugly wrinkles. That is also a strong reason never to take up body building.

5-11. Used to be 6 feet and a fraction but I've shrunk in my old age. BMI is bullshit.
Same height as me. I was a little taller, but lost height due to back surgery and having discs compressed or fusion, I think it’s called.
I am actually 5.10 and a half now.

If I weighed 168 lbs. I would be beautiful. Instead of just a bum. Which let's face it, is what I am.

This is sadly ironic considering all the trouble Brando had with his weight. I watch "Sayonara," often because it's a favorite and in his prime Marlon truly was beautiful.

What hope is there for the rest of us when people who's fame and fortune depend on keeping their weight off, and they can't?

Marlon and dachshund -- two of my favorite things.
