Are you streaming ( or binge watching ) any series on Netflix, or any other service? Tell us about it.

Anyone watch Netflix movie "Premonition" with Sandra Bullock? The story is so confusing and I kept asking myself, what is the point of this story?
I've seen it in the past...very confusing. I thought about watching it again when I saw it advertised...but no.

Watching Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan’s series on eating in different countries called eat the world on Amazon prime and of course I had to start on the episode where they’re in the south in Texas to see how they fared. They are a couple of lovable goofballs.

Watched a couple of episodes of Poldark but am not sure I'll stay with it. Has anyone here checked that one out? Thoughts?

Are you referring to the 2015 series with Aiden Turner or is there a more recent one, @StarSong ?

I watched a few episodes of this probably a year ago…. It was well done but I didn’t really get immersed in it..

Saying that, I will allow that the lead actor had the ‘smolder’ facial expression down to an art.

Enjoyed Season 1 of "High Potential". Very well cast, well-written mysteries. Season 2 has just started, so I'll wait until most of the episodes have posted before I start S2.

Otherwise I mostly watch pro sports and documentaries.

Just finished the series The Girlfriend, starring Robin Wright and Olivia Cooke, 6 episodes. Interesting psychological thriller, dumb ending, gorgeous scenery and interiors, not too bad plot (except for the ending). Acting was OK.

I also read a lot of audience reviews. Some people absolutely loved it, others found the ending bad enough to spoil the whole story for them. The plot did have some holes, but in general I found it gripping and hard to stop watching. Worth a try.

I just started Task, based on @ChiroDoc's recommendation. I love Mark R, but the pictures of the show looked too gritty for me. But it's really good--and Pelphry is amazing. So thanks for the tip.
I finished up the series the other night. I'd recommend Task. It's got a compelling story, first rate acting (especially by Mark Ruffalo and Tom Pelphrey), and a gratifying ending.

The weak points are poorly designed action scenes, and an FBI team that strains credulity owing to their young ages. They look and act like high school students.

We liked Poldark very much. At first it didn't click that much but after awhile the characters became very interesting. Watched all the seasons, don't remember how many but was sad when it was over.

I gave up on this during Episode 2: it was too dark and violent for me. Despite loving Ruffalo.
