As believers, which biblical scriptures are your favorites?

One of my favorites when I was fully dedicate to doing God's will as I understood it at the time, was the following one because it reminded me to keep my thoughts under control at all times. .

Psalm 19:14
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

The lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalm 23

Matthew 18:1–25 The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

I need to read this one practically a daily basis so that I can try to forgive others given how much I myself have been forgiven. I'm not very good at doing this, though; it's a constant process that I struggle with, a lot.

"The measure by which you measure will be measured out to you."

Using passages from the Old Testament to prove your Christianity is laughable and offensive, IMO. Cultural appropriation.

But we're not trying to prove anything, Pepper. We were invited to name our favorite scripture, no-one meant any offense.
The Old Testament is not only the book of your history, but the history of Christianity and of Islam, and a treasury of literature. Would you prefer that it not be enjoyed by the world? That we not be allowed to read it?

38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8

Yes! Definitely one of may favorites as well. I remember how we were assembled at the public school auditorium each morning and were expected to recite those beautiful verses each day before school classes started. It impressed me far more than the National Anthem or the Pledge of Allegiance.

The following is the most important scripture cross NT text from the earliest period soon after the crucifixion, verifying the reliability of the most important beliefs within Peter's Jerusalem sect within the 4 gospels that were all written later. If the text was incorrect, there were large numbers of actively involved still living eyewitnesses and followers that would have corrected it.

1 Corinthians 3 (Paul writing NASB20)

3 For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 After that He appeared to more than five hundred brothers and sisters at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; 7 then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; 8 and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also.

9 For I am the least of the apostles, and not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me. 11 Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

12 Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised; 14 and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, your faith also is in vain. 15 Moreover, we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised.

16 For if the dead are not raised, then not even Christ has been raised; 17 and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. 18 Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If we have hoped in Christ only in this life, we are of all people most to be pitied.

Bible (and other religious scriptures) say a lot of different things.

But merely reading changes nothing, it seems, as is said in the Bible also.

Action is needed, e.g.,: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength" or "Be Still" or "Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s." or whatever action resonates with you (bypassing the mind). So do I believe.
Very true! The Bible itself tells us that the scriptures were not meant to be read mindlessly or for mere entertainment. Instead, they were meant to provide the reader with the wisdom necessary for leading to a better life.

2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

The following scripture provided a lot of comfort during a very difficult time in my life.

Revelation 21:1-27 ESV

....“Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” ...
