As I promised, Our virtual Christmas is nearly here!

Good Morning Pinky,
Your looking especially well this morning.
Got our breakfast all done, had FaceTime with the sons family, we had a schedule time of 10:00 where we had face time and ate the family breakfast together. Technology has changed our daily activities, but without it we would not been able to experience it. How is the weather in Toronto, any snow?
It snowed overnight, now we're supposed to get freezing rain and more snow. We're driving about 30 mins. tomorrow, though there are flurries in the forecast.

Isn't it great that technology allows families to be "together" in real-time? Amazing!

Christmas breakfast was always.......a choice of baked french toast using cinnamon raisin bread.......fresh cinnamon buns made the day before.......and piggy's in a blanket.
Then fasted for the rest of the day for Christmas Dinner.

It truly is, My granddaughter (2) does very well with it. It was a lot of fun, especially when the granddaughter is trying to give me things and she hands them to the computer.

Thank you so much! I accept, and another Denise which I rarely get to meet! I better be thinking of something to bring then ;)
Sure! She will be there, she is the official greater! Dont worry about something to bring, just bring yourself. There is plenty there. Rose, alone has provided enough for us all. The side counter, by the espresso machine, we call Rose's desert row.

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you don't mind but I brought some of the foods that I grew up with:

I hope you all have a most enjoyable day. I have to go outside and clear a foot of snow off my car.
Ruthanne,
Looks great. I as well, Peronis and polish sausage, it was a staple in our house. Be careful on your way down, you need not hurry. We will save a place for you. Hope you find your garage soon...

I just started the fireplace and we now have a nice rolling fire, you can thaw out when you get here.

I made a glutton of myself as I do around free food

Strange, like Chinese food, I find myself hungry again.
Jerry, Go for it. There is plenty in there, and desert as well. Loosen the belt by one notch and make sure you try the Apple Dumplings. The wife just took those out of the oven, there is vanilla soft serve in the front and all kinds of hard ice cream in the walk in.

Thanks for saving me a place...much appreciated! I guess I'll sit here and thaw out a bit. It was cold out there! I think about 15 F with the wind chill. And here's a treat...

Glad you made the trip. 15F that's tough, you will need antifreeze in that weather! I love cream puffs especially with a really strong cup of coffee. I'm going to make an espresso drink, my wife calls these FOFO drinks. You want one?

30 Degrees? Hmm. I have friends that live North west that can't report a temperature without a +/-.
Pam, thanks so much for writting, we look forward to seeing you. Merry Christmas. Please bring family, friend or the family Dog. You are all welcome. My dog is here as well, He like most of my family will respond when you say chocolate. Home Alone 1 is playing in the back. See you in a bit.

Oh yes, I will have one of those and my belt has two more notches to go.

I have a friend that is a lawyer, he lives here, practices in Houston, says the same thing.
Here, I had to go out and clean off some snow and there is a whole lot off ice underneath. Never good, but being Christmas I'll just let it be!
