Autumn in Australia

One of the things English settlers missed terribly was the change of seasons that are characteristic of the northern hemisphere. Australian flora is not deciduous like northern hardwoods and the forests are green all year round.

This is what Autumn in eastern Australia looks like.

I would like to visit Australia anytime of the year, but would prefer warm weather.

A lovely picture and it looks so peaceful and calming but very different from autumn in my corner of eastern Canada.

Thanks Warrigal.

Thanks for sharing Warri. Would love to visit your country any time of the year.

In the states, the NE part of our country has the most beautiful autumn colors, with leaves changing to gold, red and many shades in-between.
As for seasons, they like to kid down here in SE Texas that we have summer and February.
