Starsong, just to add a few words to your comment to #13440, I agree about GPS certainly not being obsolete. Don't we all use it a lot?
But I do think radio and the postal service are probably considered "old people" stuff by the younger generation. Most of our "snail mail" is advertising, and some bills, although a lot of bills are paid electronically now, and everybody seems to put everything on a credit card. Birthday cards are sometimes sent, and even those are frequently electronic. Remember in our childhood how eagerly we ran to the mailbox and ripped open letters from friends? I can't remember the last time I got a social letter, invitation, etc. on paper.
Radio is somewhere in between. I do listen to stations I like on the car radio. I doubt that young people use broadcasted radio very much. I think they like streaming services a lot more. The ubiquitous podcasts seem to have taken over a lot of radio stuff.
