Bank ends relationship with NRA

And Then...there are a number of companies which are sticking with the NRA.....Here's a list of those.....

Amazon lovers.....be aware.

Amazon has not yet announced where it's second headquarters will be...
but two cities on the short list are in Texas where there is open gun carry.

At this time , it is a 'hot potato' issue...so good PR. In time it will pass. Besides with the banks piss-poor interest rate average..[.6-.8%] on savings...Hell I can bury both my dollars in the back yard , when no one's lookin'....

And so....we continue to push & push to remove guns from the hands of law abiding innocent citizens , while at the same time we continue to take a softer & softer approach toward criminals, by second guessing & prosecuting our police in so many situations.

Gee I can't imagine where this is going to lead.

As far as these car rental discounts go they tend to be useless because they're so many around. I've gotten them with numerous other organizations and companies including credit companies. The problem is most cases you can't stack the discounts because or if the rate is already discounted. One discount per customer regardless of source or kind. Meaning if one buys a travel package including air, hotel and car it's already discounted.

Same for the bank. It's virtue signaling or 'free' name recognition.

Haha You are so right. Of one thing we can be sure, regardless of what happens, life is going to continue to get weirder and weirder. So many people are very angry. Just look at all in instances of "road rage".

This is all irrelevant; anyone can get a discount on a car rental. I'm an NRA member to protect my Second Amendment rights very effectively. Remember when Congress banned certain semiauto rifles and magazines? In the 1994 elections there was a wholesale cleanup. A sitting Speaker of the House was defeated for the first time in over a century.

Remember when many in Congress with close cooperation of the vice-president tried to close our traditional gun shows? In the presidential elections later that year the state of West Virginia, one of the most reliable Democratic states, gave its seven electoral votes to the Republican. That made the difference in a close election. Everyone talked about Florida, but without West Virginia the Republicans couldn't have won. West Virginia is now one of the most reliable Republican states. When we received calls from the NRA asking for election funds, we responded.

We neither abandon our friends nor do we ever forgive our enemies. We are the NRA.

Myself, along with millions of other people, are responsible and law abiding gun owners and I fully intend to boycott all the anti gun businesses that have recently chosen to distance themselves from the NRA.

I'm proud to say that I've been a NRA Life Member for over thirty years.

The various firms are not acting out of any moral considerations. As is usual the motive is commercial.
A consumer boycott aimed at firms that give discounts to NRA members is starting to bite.

Here are some more that are walking away from NRA members.
Best Western Hotels
Hertz Car rental
Wyndham Hotels
Enterprise Rent–A–Car
Avis car rental
Allied Van Lines
MetLife
Simplisafe (home security)
Paramount Rx (discounted prescriptions)
Republic Bank

The list is growing.

Boycotts work. Everyone support those that are oppose the NRA.

My question is why????
Who has decided to place the blame at the hands of the NRA?
Sounds like it was an absolute shot show and instead of finger pointing, there should be solutions. .

Remember when blacks and women could not vote? Remember when America elected a black president? Hang the NRA! It is coming.
