I don’t like the nose rings, but that’s a personal judgement. I don’t even like a simple gold earring in the nose.. I have a nose prejudice. So that’s my problem, not his. Otherwise I think he looks fine, if not great.
Daughter, son, and SIL have tattoos, daughter has the most. She and SIL have piercings, the ear things as well, but not as big. This guy probably has money. All that work is expensive.
Lots of people have main stream jobs, it’s not that much of an issue as it used to be.I always think what kind of work can this person do looking like that? Either a rock musician or a tattooist.
My thoughts also.To me, he seems sad and this seems more like self-mutilation (in the psychological sense).
Buy a tattoo magazine and see. Lots of them look darn good. There are tattoo shows, as in real life, and tattoo shows on tv. If people stay in good shape over the years, they will look good, if they don’t stay in good shape, then, to some people, they won’t look good. To others they will.To me, he seems sad and this seems more like self-mutilation (in the psychological sense). What will he look look like when he is MY age?
When my daughter starting getting tattoo, her first tattoo was the Jetsons on a leg. Then she has the other leg done, can’t remember. Next her back, cornrows. One her chest the grim reaper plus. On one arm Russian tea dolls. Her arms are sleeve tattoos. She has piercings.I’m not the least bit opposed to tattoos or body piercing. In fact I like a lot of them. Some are extremely attractive. Others not so much. When I’m worried about looking deep inside someone’s nostrils , that would be uncomfortable but maybe that’s what this man wants; to make others uncomfortable.
Some people get tattoo’s and piercings to make them feel more attractive. Some people get tattoos and piercings to make themselves more repulsive. Maybe they don’t like themselves and this is how they express it; similar to someone who cuts to make them feel better emotionally.

I think you may have hit the nail on the head so to speak, he wanted to look tougher.... I wonder how the man went from being a baby faced boy to his present state. ...
As I said my daughter has sleeve tattoos, hers are above the elbows. Lots have them end at the wrist line. My son is a director at the company he works at, his is on a shoulder. SIL has his on his chest. Just because you can’t see the tattoos doesn’t mean they are not there.I've never seen a doctor, lawyer, stock broker, bank president, or college professor who looked like this guy. Sorry. Never.
