At the drugstore check out today there was a man in front of me who reeked of BO....eeewww....not the kind from just having been in a sports game....nooooo...this was from not bathing, not using deodorant, and also probably dirty clothes.. This was not a street person, in fact I heard him tell the cashier his wife was in the car blah blah.
I held my breath then pretended I forgot something. OMG....how could he and his wife stand such an offensive smell? After he left I got in line again but the stench lingered. Ugh.
Gag me.
When I worked downtown I used to take the bus a lot. There were a few times when I moved, and one time the person smelled so bad I stood because there were no seats to move to. I've also gotten into a few taxis that made me cover my nose with my hand - never sure if it was the car, driver, or previous passenger.
I have a keen sense of smell, but BO is BO.
Yuk!
How do you handle it?
