For me it was the dimpling taking place around the chin area. And my skin, especially in the neck area, isn't as resilient as it used to be. LOL

Decline in sex from twice a day to once a day, down to 3 times a week, then once a week. Now at a whisker away from age 81 & failing memory I'm not sure of the count.

A little more wisdom, considerably more pain, but working through that, with more stretching, and realizing physical limits, used to be able to lift pretty much anything I needed to, and still can lift a lot for my age, but discretion has always been the better part of valor. Jerry old, i can relate to the turkey wattle thing. One of the advantages of a beard, much tougher for the ladies out there.

Serious hearing loss in my late 20's, so that's out.

'Getting old' wakeup call was a Heart Attack. Yea, that's the one.

Getting hit by the AARP membership solicitation materials out of nowhere. That, and being asked at restaurants if I qualified for the senior discount. At first I was offended by that, but hey, if it means bucks off the bill, I’ll play along…

I've never been asked for that so far... but if there's a concession going for anything, I've learned to ask for it myself...

I was working and my older co-workers would exclaim how young I looked & acted! I was in my early '50's. They asked me how, why! I was so youthful. I answered "It's because I still have my mommy." She died shortly after and I never felt that young again. The start of rolling down that hill................had near death cancer one year later & I never climbed back the hill. After that it was one thing after the other, after the other.
