It is. He died young and I believe the cause of his death was not recorded on his death certificate.

Probably my favorite guitar player...Jimi Hendrix. Tried to find his version of "Red House" and youtube doesn't have the cover song!!! This is a live version, so it is Jimi really doing his thing.

Sadly SRV also died too early, but his music still lives. I know lot of people like Jimi Hendrix how he plays the guitar. However I think SRV is a guitar genius.
