Honestly? This is the last thing the US needs right now. I wish the US would just drop the charges and walk away already. And pardon Snowden while they're at it.

In November 2019, Australia's prime minister Scott Morrison told former "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson that Canberra will not intervene to bring her friend, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, back home to prevent his extradition to the United States.

This topic sounds pretty political to me, and I feel the last thing the USA needs dumped on it right now is another controversy demanding immediate attention. My personal opinion is that he is a cowardly traitor who should be prosecuted and it wouldn’t hurt the case to let him stay cooped up where he is awhile longer.

I have to agree he has showed cowardice by hiding in the embassy for so long, he's is terrified, a lot of people (like me) agree with our PM, he aint getting any help from us - you are on your own buddy.

Australia has no complaint against Assange because he has committed no crime against our laws. On the other hand, the US media that published the Wikileaks material might be answerable but have any been prosecuted?
No? I thought not.
I agree that Assange is a very strange man but that is not an indictable offence as yet.

Hmm. Ms Anderson, a Canuck, born not far from where I live, is a passionate supporter of various causes which, I, myself, support. So, yes, this person living In the civilised world obviously cares what she thinks re certain topics.

Lawyers for Julian Assange have rejected Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s claim he can simply return to Australia if a final legal attempt to extradite him on espionage charges fails, warning the United States could promptly launch new legal proceedings here.
There are fears the US could simply reopen attempts to extradite Mr Assange from Australia if he ever travelled home to the country where he was born and that would leave him again facing charges that carry a maximum penalty of up to 175 years in jail.
Australian officials also confirmed that there was nothing in the US extradition treaty to stop the US from extraditing him as soon as he sets foot in Australia.

I could care less what she thinks. No matter what causes she supports and I have read of them. Just my opinion of course and matters to nobody but me.
