My Two Little Cats of Long Ago

Taken while completing our home in Vegas, 1973. The 2 cats are at the right end of the pool, debating about swimming a lap. The house in the upper left corner was built by the Osmond Brothers. Today, that entire area is completely filled with custom homes.



Here they are just after we got them, brother & sister. I got custody of them when we separated, 1977. All of them are now only bitter memories, hard to swallow.



My wife's sister, Diane, then 16, urging the female to finish her lap, the big guy, already up on the top step, was a much more agile swimmer! I believed the cats actually got used to the coolness afforded in that intense Vegas summer heat. Those few years were some of the best, and worst, of my entire life......imp
 
Adorable kitties Imp, so sad they're gone now. Cool to see that one swim, I heard that Turkish Van Cats are great swimmers, but rarely see a regular house cat doing laps.
