She was mine, I lost her to kidney failure many years ago. She came from a rescue centre, and I picked her because she was hiding at the back of the crate, trying to pretend she wasn't there. I trait I shared with her. She was a very quiet, shy little cat. Her paw pads stayed soft and shiny because she hardly ever went out, even though she had a garden with many trees.
 
Sorry Moonflight, you're very kind for taking her in and showing her love before she passed.
 
I'm sorry Moon, black cats are awesome...our Boo is elderly, black and tiny, but with the biggest meow of all the other cats put together.

Little Huggi was a Beauty, Moonflight, so Very Sorry for your loss. We have a small black cat also, and she is in kidney failure too. So far she is doing pretty good, and I dread the time when she won't be and we will lose her.
 
These aren't ours but I miss having kittens. Sophie has gotten too unstable in her old age to bring in any new creatures. But the day she goes to that rainbow bridge I'm adopting a whole litter!
