DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME - Set the Clocks AHEAD Tonight!

Ah, this silly old custom - I really wish they'd just stick with one time.

Where is it - Arizona? - that doesn't participate? I guess time stands still for them ... :D

OMG Is it THAT time already? Seems like we just did it not too long ago.

I've always thought that Arizona has the right idea.

The original idea was to improve the lives of farmers and school children, but that doesn't ring true in this day and age.

Let THEM change their clocks, watches, thermostats, coffee makers, car clocks, radios....and on and on..;.

But leave the rest of us alone !

That's what SHE said ...

Agreed. That must play havoc with airline schedulers ...

Yeah - who needs those silly ol' farmers anyway? :p

If anything, with the disappearance of the Mom-and-Pop farms and the emergence of the corporate-owned ones you'd think the 24-hour cycle would be reduced to 9-to-5.

Day Light Saving. Arrrrggghhh! Every year, I raise the frustrated argument. If we desire more light in the evening, why not just start the day an hour earlier rather than change the clocks? I have this rather strange ability to tell time from the sun's position in the sky . . . well, not to the exact minute but pretty close . . . and when we fool with time it's awfully disconcerting. Oh well, it's all relative, any way . . . !

What is wrong with those idiots I government? Don't they realize that that extra hour of sunshine is the real cause of global warming?

And we always get the extra hour during the warmer half of the year. Sheeesh! We could have used an extra hour of sunshine this winter.

Wow, I remember those days - drive into the blinding sun both ways, rising and setting, then get in the house and wait half-an-hour for my eyes to readjust.

I don't miss them.
