Great song!
You don't have to be a 'lady' to do those things. To me, a 'lady' is a description of the Elite, out of my league and beyond my ken.I'm thinking that being a lady means to me many things.
One of them is being polite and making the people around me feel respected and special.
You surely mean walk in the garden? In a genteel fashion.Ladies work in the garden.
My mother always cautioned me to never draw attention to myself. To me, a lady is respectful of others, polite, does not raise her voice to get her point across. I agree about dressing in a way that is not too revealing or gaudy.A lady carries herself in a respectful manner and is not loud or vulgar. She dresses in a presentable (a word my mother used to use) fashion, even if she's in casual wear. Her wardrobe may also be classic and classy. Her clothes will not be too tight, revealing or gaudy. She has a pleasant demeanor and knows how to interact with others in social situations...or she may be shy and quiet, so does not draw attention to herself. You'll know a lady when you come across one.
