Did anybody vote today?

No I didn't vote this time. It's all become like, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss".
We could have said this all our voting lives.

Understanding who to vote for is more about education by looking behind the curtain. These past many years have been more about hair color or who’s doing who. Who can smear better than the other so maybe WE need to stop falling into this cesspool.
Voting is a right as an American citizen, you can choose not to vote, that’s your right. Not to educate yourself is your right also.
I would like to see America to continue to be “free” and voting with our constitution in mind, I have to educate myself in my small town and also in this “our United States”. Don’t let them take this away. I truly have voted wrong a few times but that was because I did not educate myself well enough. You can’t stop educating yourself on who you want to be your spokesperson for the next years they are in service for us, yes you and me.

Voted about 2:30pm here in Santa Clara County. Took about 15 minutes with a minor line. New voting machines allows each person to watch counted votes feed into the system. My procrastination avoiding over bothering to look through a stack of accumulated voting mailing and then read parts of a comprehensive voting pamphlet came to the end at noon today. Nothing I voted on was personally of much importance.

I AM an educated person but not an indoctrinated one. Doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. When the WEF, major corporations, utility companies, the media and banks stop financing our candidates thereby ensuring profitable future policies for themselves, maybe the constituent will come to mean something again. Presently, we don't and that's why I stopped voting.

Wife and I voted the second day of early voting. It's so easy in our community. Awesome people manning the early voting place. No delays. Election didn't go, totally, the way we wanted. But, think we can take a deep breath knowing there were enough people with common sense to... for the moment... save democracy.

Boy, I can sure identify with your words concerning feeling like voting is a waste of time. Many times during past elections I felt that my vote did not count. I for myself choose to vote and I respect the fact that you choose differently.

P.S. Nowhere in my previous note stated anyone was uneducated.

Sounds like an excuse for not voting...live with your results, you will not enjoy the next four years!

Yes, I voted. I also worked the polls for 16 hours yesterday in our small town. The turnout was greater than any I had worked in the last 7 years. I went home last night tired, but satisfied that we, the people, are showing up to make our voices heard once again, whatever party issues or sides we take. That's democracy.

The biggest donor of all is George Soros. A quick look at the top 20 organizational donors includes a mix of labor unions, corporate types, and Democratic lobbying groups. 11 are Republican and 9 are Democratic. So you can ban the money, but it's going to hurt Democrats as well as Republicans.

Thanks for doing that. My polling place was staffed with polite, efficient individuals, probably people much like you.

Time to reread One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovitch
