Voted on my way home this evening. It was busy but didn't have to stand in line. Probably was a lot busier earlier today.
We could have said this all our voting lives. No I didn't vote this time. It's all become like, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss".
I AM an educated person but not an indoctrinated one. Doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. When the WEF, major corporations, utility companies, the media and banks stop financing our candidates thereby ensuring profitable future policies for themselves, maybe the constituent will come to mean something again. Presently, we don't and that's why I stopped voting. We could have said this all our voting lives.
Understanding who to vote for is more about education by looking behind the curtain. These past many years have been more about hair color or who’s doing who. Who can smear better than the other so maybe WE need to stop falling into this cesspool.
Voting is a right as an American citizen, you can choose not to vote, that’s your right. Not to educate yourself is your right also.
I would like to see America to continue to be “free” and voting with our constitution in mind, I have to educate myself in my small town and also in this “our United States”. Don’t let them take this away. I truly have voted wrong a few times but that was because I did not educate myself well enough. You can’t stop educating yourself on who you want to be your spokesperson for the next years they are in service for us, yes you and me.
Apparently.... No lines, no muss, no fuss, no intimidation. A quick sweep of cable news shows no incidents to speak of. Could it be that all the talk about election-day violence and intimidation was just hype?
Boy, I can sure identify with your words concerning feeling like voting is a waste of time. Many times during past elections I felt that my vote did not count. I for myself choose to vote and I respect the fact that you choose differently.I AM an educated person but not an indoctrinated one. Sounds like an excuse for not voting...live with your results, you will not enjoy the next four years!I AM an educated person but not an indoctrinated one. Thanks for doing that. My polling place was staffed with polite, efficient individuals, probably people much like you.Yes, I voted. I also worked the polls for 16 hours yesterday in our small town. The turnout was greater than any I had worked in the last 7 years. I went home last night tired, but satisfied that we, the people, are showing up to make our voices heard once again, whatever party issues or sides we take. That's democracy.
I live in a red state, Republican, this year the democrats didn’t even put up a candidate, as I explained. So no, I don’t vote anymoreI don’t vote anymore
That's like the Ukrainian's putting down their weapons and allowing Russian tanks to roll over top.I live in a red state, Republican, this year the democrats didn’t even put up a candidate, as I explained. So no, I don’t vote anymore
I haven't enjoyed the last two or the previous four if it makes you feel any better. They're all corrupt.Sounds like an excuse for not voting...live with your results, you will not enjoy the next four years!
