Did You Hear About The Walmart T-Shirt?

Glad no one heard the four letter word I just used about such stupidity. Who goes searching for such nonsense. I had to look for the problem and showed it to my husband. Neither one of us would have spotted it. How many people go reading the first letter of each word.

Lots of shirts going to the landfill. Totally opposite of the message it was meant to send.

Jules, I totally thought the same thing. And as I wrote above, people would have bought them like crazy and some probably would have been sold on Ebay. Just don't make anymore.

Such a waste.

The whole thing sounds a-bit adolesent to me .... But in this world we live in today .... I'm not really surprised.

As I wrote, I don't believe for a minute this was intentional. Just noticed by people and it went viral. But if Walmart had just left the shirts, let them sell and made no more, I think it would have been less than what it was.

Just put together the first letters of the small words. But honestly, is this supposed to be funny to anybody over the age of about 14?
Thanks, I don't think I would have caught that had you not pointed it out. It's hard to believe this scandal became a thing. The fact that someone needed such a dirty mind to spot it, makes me feel like some kind of Saint.

There is a quip about where another bad word came from: (maybe not true, but funny)
  • S--t: The word "s--t" did not originate as an acronym for "Ship High in Transit", a label falsely said to have been used on shipments of manure to prevent them from becoming waterlogged and releasing explosive methane gas.[8][12] The word comes from Old English scitte, and is of Proto-Germanic origin.[13][14]
