Not really. I flew in and out of Denver over the Rockies in May during heavy snow squalls. Two and a half to three hours later, I would land in LA and the temp was 73 degrees. I also remember flying in and out of Chicago during May and snowing.that's incredible isn't it ?...In May !![]()
With Spring weather in the U.S., we never know what we will be getting. We can always count on tornadoes in the central plains and in Colorado through Oklahoma is “Tornado Alley.” We see devastating pictures each spring where large funnel clouds have cut a path through small towns and lots of farm land.
I was living east of Cleveland in the 70’s when I flew for Air Wisconsin (United Express) and I would see snow flurries in May. Those were the best of times. Right now, I am in Baltimore and it is 86 degrees. I have the A/C on in my SUV.
