Do you believe in horoscopes?

I used to always read my horoscope daily, it used to interest me that the stars, sun, moon and planets could influence who I was and my life. Yet nowadays I don't really believe it any more. I think there must be some basis of truth in it but not enough for me. Then again, that's just my opinion.

Could it be that where the stars were aligned at the time of your birth makes you who you are? In many cultures people never make a big decision such as marriage, without consulting astrologers and their charts. This subject has always interested mankind, in our quest for meaning.

When I was much younger I used to always read my horoscope but I finally realized it was
never anyway near to what was happening in my day to day life, so I lost interest and
have not bothered with horoscopes for years.

For entertainment purposes only, but it does leave me one question that I have.

The concept of quantum entanglement, a concept I can almost barely understand, is that two unrelated particles can affect one another. I believe some evidence to support this theory of this actually happening in the universe, was found using photons. So... why would the idea that positions of astral bodies not be able to affect our little ol' lives?

I do think there must be something to it. I used to find it all fun and surprisingly accurate when I was young. Maybe I was seeing what I wanted to see.
The things we used to see in newspapers/magazines and now online were just for "play." I knew this for sure when I was offered a writing gig to actually write those things for a newspaper column. I refused the job, but that's why they all sound alike... simply some writer being paid to construct the words. I've never checked into the other part... astrologers, etc. so know nothing about that.

Absolutely I believe, but an accurate astrological reading is much more involved than the simple paragraph a newspaper or magazine will give you. It's much more precise. I love some things about my chart while I wish I could change others.

I agree wholeheartedly with this....

I do not believe in daily horoscopes... in any way shape or form... Having worked in the media I can tell you that very often those newspaper and magazine ''astrologers'' are just the backroom boys..in that they get to do agony aunt.. and horoscope as part of their job.. they just make it up.. of course nowadays they can copy someone else's work from the internet.

However Astrology... as opposed to Hororr-scopes.. is a science..I believe in that...ad I am archetypically Aries....
