We frequently reheat food in the microwave. However, we just had the equivalent of a "Bloomin Onion" at Texas Roadhouse and took most of it home. I managed to keep it crisp during one reheating but after that it was so soggy it was inedible. I also find that pizza isn't good reheated in the microwave.
Our house came with a Thermador oven that we rarely use, but since it is almost 25 years old it takes forever to heat when I want to bake anything.
So, I just ordered an air fryer to reheat foods like that. I know I can bake fresh salmon in it without waiting 25 minutes for it to heat up. For those of you who have one, is there anything else you use it for? Any recommendations? For example, if I buy something like Gorton's frozen fried fish can I use the air fryer? I'm just not sure how it compares to the oven instructions that come on the box.
