The face in the mirror is having cataract surgery in April.
I'm not sure I will recognise her without her glasses.
This might take some getting used to.
The smile should be the same though.

Good luck with that, Warri. Are you getting the lenses put in, too?

Yes. The old lenses are coming out, to be replaced with lenses tailored for my eyes in that I my vision should no longer be affected by long sightedness or astigmatism. The two procedures will be only one week apart and one month after that we will see whether or not I still need glasses for reading.

I feel very lucky to have been born when I was.
So many procedures that I need now are no longer experimental and the specialists really know what they are doing.
