Do you nap more these days?

Yes, I like to take a nap after lunch. I sleep between 1-2 hours. (It is getting longer now) I never did when I was younger but now, I cannot sleep more than 5-6 hours a night so I am tired mid-day.
I remembered reading that we will sleep more and more as we are approaching our death. I am starting to panic!😉

I've seen "experts" on sleep who've said that if you spend a little time outside in the sun in the morning it helps adjust your body clock to help you sleep better at night. I try to spend at least 5 minutes in the sun in the morning.

My naps on the couch are just dozing off for a few minutes with my head on my arm. It usually refreshes me for the rest of the day. I didn't have one today and Hubs asked me at about 7:30 if I was going to make it through the TV show. :ROFLMAO:

I typically sleep 8-9 hours per night. I go to the gym 5 days a week. That hasn't chanced for the past 6 years. A couple of years ago I never took afternoon naps. Now I find that at around 3:30pm when I'm on the couch and watching TV I drift off. Sometimes the cats are on my lap and they just look startled when I snore and wake myself up!

Anyone else finding naps are more frequent these days?

Actually quite the opposite. When I taught sleep was problematic and a six hour night was pretty much acceptable, but I napped just as soon as I got home - often for just 15-20 minutes. Now I sleep 8.5 to 9.5 or more nearly every night and never nap. I probably could but why mess up my next good night’s sleep?
