Do you stay logged into SF all the time or log off and on again each time

As the title says..do you stay logged in to SF all day regardless if you're on the forum or even on your computer..or do you log off and log back on again each time.?

No ulterior motive for asking, just curious!!

I usually have SF open all day... albeit minimised, if I'm at home and doing something else ..I've even gone off to work sometimes and come home to find I'd forgotten to log off:D
 

Always on....all the better to lurk!
 

There's logging off and there's just closing your browser, or browser window. I never log off, but close down IE window after every visit (except when I forget).

Doesn't that automatically log you off? That's what happens with my Firefox - if I'm still logged in and close the browser, when I open it again I have to log in to SF again. Maybe it's just the way I have FF set up ...

I can't remember it's been so long since I actually logged off. Is there a "remember me" box to check when you log in?
 
I have never really logged off since being on here since late last year,if I logged off I'd have to start thinking about my password ( think I wrote it in my little book:))
 
I log off each night and log in when ever I start to check the next day. During the day I do not log off but that doesn't mean I am anywhere near my computer.
 
I'm always logged in except when I empty all of my cookies. After that I have to log in again and provide my password but I always click the "remember me" option.
Then after restarting my computer I just click onto Senior Forums on my favourites bar and I am instantly in. No need for my password each time.
 
Why would any one want to disconnect from SF? This is your addiction and you might need a "fix" at any time!

I clear my cache and cookies every single night after a busy day on the net. If I am not on the net too often, I let it go to twice a week. Hope nobody is offended by me giving this info.

Why should anyone be offended Red...?...you're advice is a good one re cookies etc..you're trying to help and I'm sure the vast majority will appreciate it.. :D

I try to log off each time I am done reading or posting, but sometimes forget. If I leave myself logged on, but do not have any activity on the site for an extended period of time, SF logs me out.
 
One hour after you last action on the forum, you will be logged out automatically. So, manual logout isn't unnecessary, but it will log you out immediately instead of one hour delay.
 
Thanks Matrix..I didn't know that...which means I can breathe a sigh of relief when I accidentally leave myself logged into SF when I go off to work.. and no-one thinks I'm ignoring them .. :D
 
I guess I'm always logged in because when I sign into the site I'm asked if I want Google Chrome to remember this password.
