Do You Still Wear Jeans?

We worked so hard in school just to wear pants!! Then we had to work to get women's jeans! Absolutely I wear jeans!

If they're ripped, it's quite unintentional and I'll try to replace them for "going out" jeans. lol

I do not agree with the people who make such comments.
Comments? I tell you, try wearing twenty-two inch trouser hems with a turned up cuff. The comments come thick and fast. Saying that, none of the said comments could be said to be original. Times I've heard: "When did the baggies come back in fashion?"

Yes, I find Just My Size jeans comfortable, elastic waist, soft material, comes any many colors and sizes and my Walmart carries them....I usually order online because I wear a short size, a little harder to find, I just find it easier to order online.
Yep, I love the Just My Size brand. I have them in leggings, and they are very light and comfy. I'm quite certain I got some from Amazon.

no I was referring to people who say that at my age I shouldn't be wearing these style of jeans.. but thank you....
@hollydolly
What I think is great, is that women (and men) dress more youthful these days, than they did in our parent's day. My mother always shunned wearing bright or pastel colours, saying it's "too young" for her. I would love her to be around today, and see her in more youthful styles.

I'll wear jeans in my grave ! But I don't wear the ripped jeans. I went through that fad back in the 70s. I just wear regular old jeans. I wonder when the stonewashed jeans fad of the 80's will become a thing again.
stonewash jeans are back in the stores here now... along with very wide leg jeans for 2022

I never wore..thought too gauche..
But, found a pair, had forgotten about..
Will keep just "in case"...that country affair comes up!🤭

I haven't worn denim jeans in a very long time .. ever since I discovered leggings, which are so comfortable. Not the skin-tight ones though. I buy the ones that have a high percentage of cotton. They look nice with tunics, which I wear a lot.

I have always worn jeans, all shades of denim, white in summer, black at times. Slacks are fine for going out, but jeans can be dressed up or down. But, none of the torn jean looks for me, ridiculous. I am not a fan of the new wide leg look, either.
Jeggings are an option for me, too.

I wear jeans 99% of the time when I leave the house. I have a bunch of nice dress pants and a couple of suits that I wore when working, but they just stay in the closet unless I have to go to "dress up" event.

Insofar as jean with holes....IMO; they look awful....little better than wearing a rag.
I'm with Don on this. Probably switched from overalls to jeans in the late 30's-early 40's, as a kid. They were to me, just overalls with the bib cut off and the addition of a belt. Worked on highway construction projects most of my career 'til moving inside for my last ten years as the District's Environmental Engineer. This required some casual slacks and (Heaven forbid!!) an occasional suit and tie.
Still wear jeans and chinos at 89, and I doubt if my wardrobe will be changing 'til I drop.
