Does anyone else talk out loud to themselves at home?

Yes. I talk out loud all the time and answer back. My husband does the same so we don’t even need to talk to each other.

I try not to talk to myself or move my lips in public.

I love that and do it too, but usually only around Dia de Los Muertos, a beautiful holiday.

A little bit. Mostly I mutter. I'm always telling myself what I need to do next. I also cuss to myself when something irritates me.

I do at home and I did at work. Luckily, they thought it was funny at work. I try to be more careful out and about. But probably out and about, no one cares as a lot of people look like they are talking to themselves but they're on their gadgets.

I complain quietly in the grocery store about the prices. Sometimes I guess I wasn't quiet enough.

Talking to myself is a sign of living alone, usually. I think of it as talking to the walls. But I would quickly move if the walls started talking back. If I am really talking up a storm when upset, I go for a long walk or write in my journal. I also risk my apartment neighbors hearing me and I can't talk as loud as I want to, lol.

My wife used to hum a lot, claimed she was inspired by the Holy Spirit! Although she's been gone for almost 9 years, my daughters will sometimes mention that as one of her most endearing characteristics, especially when they find themselves doing it.
