Execution with Nitrogen gas

I would just like to add, "I think it will work!"
But a 12' deep tank of water and a cement block would work better.
Drain the tank, swirl some soap, refill twice and Next ?
They used to tie them to a post at low tide and watch it come in. Feed the fish too.
Were the Crimes they were found guilty of by their peers' humane treatment ?
We know the Sheriff's brother sells the hooch but who buys it ?
I'm certain Anger is The Universal law of the Universe. Boom!

You should care. Why? Because it makes you the same as them. Bullet to the head does the same job.
Hi Pepper. I apologize but I don't understand your comment. Are saying I'm perhaps cold-hearted because I don't care or you saying these sort of people are not deserving of a soft exit and a bullet to the head is a more fitting solution?

That's because most pentobarbital is manufactured in Europe, and the countries won't sell to prisons any more because of the death penalty.
Ecactly. There was a German company too, that stopped providing pentobarbital for executions to the U.S.

I'm not going to argue pro or con of death penalties. We all have a right to our own opinions. But, if we're going to do it, why not use carbon monoxide? People die of it all the time and are never aware of it happening. Or helium. There was even someone selling do-it-yourself suicide kits using helium. Either one would be easy, clean, and cheap.

If the goal is just to rid someone from society, there's no need to make them suffer needlessly. On the other hand, if suffering is desirable, then history shows that there are many ways worse than choking to death on nitrogen.

Today, Alabama executed a killer using Nitrogen, It sounds like the killer experienced quite q bit of "stress", as his brain became deprived of oxygen. He probably deserved the "punishment", but this will probably trigger all sorts of protests.

Alabama executes a man with nitrogen gas, the first time the new method has been used

However, if the States are looking for a way to rid society of these thugs, a cheap, and quick solution might be to give them a tablespoon of the huge amount of Fentanyl that is flooding our nation.
I know the argument about quick killing etc....but really truly ... why should we care about a man struggling to breathe for a few minutes when he didn't give a monkeys spanner when stabbing an entirely innocent young woman for a measly $1000 dollars ...did he care she was suffering, that she was desperately trying to breathe and was in Pain...of course she didn't.. then he got housed and fed for 35 years at the taxpayers expense...

I'm sorry but when it comes to killers...an eye for an eye has my support... he should have been executed years ago at the same time as his partner in crime

Many in Prison live better than those in apartments. Go college, have good jobs, people love them. They are at peace.
Get upset if lock up happens in the hole. Free health benefits, very little actual hard labor. For non-violent offenders
its sort of just a groop of evenings in a nice room. Basically, short stay. Violet offenders spend a lot of lone time.
Probably sort of Crazy in a special sort of way!

What a nice story, what is the name of that prison?

it's actually true, in many prisons in the UK. Very often those without homes.. or those recently released from prison will commit a crime to get back in because they do get heat, food, bedding.. free medical..and a roof over their head... and for those addicted there's easy access to their drug of choice..

However, I'm of the opinion that if someone commits a crime so heinous that they are deemed unfit to remain in our society, then I don't really care how they're dispatched.
Maybe you don't, but the Constitution does.

It's the mess of spraying blood 10 feet all over as they struggle, the mess oh my god the awful mess to clean up. Why put our good people thru that mess of a clean up. Just push em off the river boat launch where the river runs thru it tied and weighted. No pain, no cost and above all no mess to clean up. Fish food. No reason to search for the B-terds body either. You know a crane with a sand filled bag swing automatically timed. No human hand or guilt involved it a O'POC's end.

The official reason is it gives high paying jobs to Lawyers, protection for those innocent POC. They's legal angels then go on to be elected sometimes or just buy effect costly $million homes constructions in the Miami Area and possibly the chance to Donate to really great slimy causes.

I believe he's receiving a greater judgment and sentencing. What he endured was nothing compared to what he'll endure for eternity. Too many sitting on death row for years...decades...that should be put down like the animals they are. God forgive me, but I have no sympathy for the guilty.
From the Old Testament - "Vengeance is mine, I will repay," says the Lord. Deuteronomy 32:35

And from the New Testament - Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” Romans 12:19

Moses had witnessed first hand the cruelty of the Egyptian Pharoah and Paul had the same experience with the Roman overlords, yet both recognised the futility of revenge. Jesus invariably spoke of forgiveness. Revenge is easy; forgiveness is much harder to deliver.

↑ ..... .. . If you take that forward many centuries to exactly tomorrow, you will witness exactly no forgiveness in the exact same areas of the bible stories some really darkens lonely house guy wrote.

Father; "Why have you have forsaken me?" (suffer my son you have done good)

Interesting, more like a residential reentry facility, rather than a 'penitentiary' type institution like say, San Quentin.

When DNA testing became widely used in the criminal justice system, they found that a surprisingly large number of innocent people had been convicted. I'm sure this happened all over, but the study I am talking about took place in Texas, and a disproportionate number of Black prisoners on death row turned out to be innocent. They were freed.

It seems to me that that fact alone is an excellent argument for abolishing the death penalty. "Life without" seems like a pretty awful punishment to me, and it allows for the possibility that the person will turn out to be proved innocent, after all.

But that won't appeal to the crowd that prefers barbaric punishment, the more sadistic the better.

Except when someone is proven to be guilty which the vast majority of murderers are... then there should be a penalty for them to be taken from this world, not have anybody paying for their existence. if an animal killed another animal or a person there would be no discussion, the animal would be put down, because it's no longer of any use to society in fact it would be a danger.. no animal shelters are going to take that animal in and expect other people to pay for it's food and care.. and that's how it should be with proven murderers.

People cross us all the time. Individually not a one of us can make a difference and most likely there is no fixing it with playing the sob story over and over again. We have to rely on what we have as justice. If its better now, as it seems it all gets dragged out until its like just go shoot yourself justice will never happen.

Key concept in bold.
