Not on my FB....I have a family page and an internet friends page on FB..No. If you think you have 'real' friends on social media, you're delusional...........Social media is out of control, and people cannot distinguish reality from their keyboard.
We'll agree to disagree. An 'internet friend', to me, is an oxymoron. Not on my FB....I have a family page and an internet friends page on FB..

We have 46 internet friends on our private (invite only) FB Page..I have met about 20 face to face..Some go back 20 years..I'm with you Ken - of course, I consider myself a people person, and I'm open to make new friends on here or face to face.
Yes, Our private page is used for posts that we do not want our family to see!!! Nothing off color, but stuff that they do not have to see..Ken....I think you're doing it the right way. It sounds to me like you can pick and choose who who want to include as your friends on your closed group or family page.
I had a friend that accepted every friend request, just because he wanted to see how many friends he could accumulate. That was a bad idea for many reasons, which I won't go into here, but it almost ended up costing him everything.
Several of my internet friends have turned into real-life friends who I have visited or been visited by.
I firmly believe that many of my internet friends are truly friends, even if we never meet in person.
Yes, I am friendLY but remain very cautious about my picture or many details. You never know. That being said, I enjoy all of yall's company!
