Firefox using a lot of memory the past 2 days

Alt+F4 will close it (on a Windows system, not sure about MAC)

By default, Firefox is allowed to:
- collect technical and interaction data
- Install and run studies
- Send backlogged crash reports
You don't need any of these tasks using your system resources, you can uncheck them to prevent this sort of data collection.

I tried FF for 1 week. Then uninstalled it due to extremely poor performance.

I was using Chrome but it, as usual, allowed malware attacks.

So now I use DuckDuckGo and occasionally Edge.

No major problems using DDG.
