Welcome Foggia to the forum, it's always nice to meet new people. I live a long long way from N Y City. I did know someone very special from my younger days who lived in Newark, New Jersey, is that near to you? I wanted to travel there but due to lack of funds in the 1960's it was
only a dream.

Foggia is an area in Italy with little towns scattered around. My maternal ancestors were feom there.

Newark, NJ is just across the Hudson River from New York City. It sounds like your special someone is no longer here. I'm sorry for your loss..
