For The Love Of Dogs

This is my wee girl Harper. She is a female rough coat Jack Russell Terrier/Terror. She'll be six years old at the end of October about the same time I turn 71. She's not really a terror but she does demand to be entertained some times. Luckily, a walk will usually do that for a while.
And yes, she thinks the furniture is just as much hers as it is mine.

I can still "see" my family dog being taken away because my mother couldn't afford the expense of feeding her. She, Sandy, looked sadly over at me as if saying, "Why are these people taking me away?" I felt pain at losing her, but didn't cry because there was no questioning mother. To this day, I wish I had played with Sandy more often, showed her more of my love for her.
