For The Love Of Dogs

Thank YOU, RR... I don't know if we'll ever get over Carl and Lennie being gone... Carl is the one that saved my leg a few years back, he's the one who told me it was infected...Without the boys, I probably would not have a leg today... We are still reeling over them being gone, and this morning we put her cousin's dog down for her. We were hoping that Maggie would still be here when she returns from Florida, But Maggie turned drastically downhill this past weekend, So we took her home where the vet met us there, While it was happening, all I could see was Carl...It was horrible... I hate that... and I can't do it anymore, we can't do it anymore...it hurts way too much...
I’m so terribly sorry for your losses.
The hurt and absence of their love will always be there.
But, it will get easier, in time.
They will be missing you as much as you miss them.
Time will help.
Keep loving them.

All 3 have had their dinner. The two littles come to get in my lap after they are done to get burped, I know crazy!! It started with the little chiweenie when she was a tiny pup. She ate so fast she would fill up with air. I have burped her all her life. When I adopted Toby, he caught on real quick and decided he also need to be burped. Yes, he does burp, but he seems to enjoy the kisses and cuddles much more.

I have also found to best way to bring a new dog into the house, if you can, pick a pup. For some reason the others do not see the puppy as a threat, Sometimes seems like that don't even know it is a dog. It helps little one settle in, makes porty training so much easier. I have 3 very happy, healthy dogs so we may not need to add to the family unless we meet someone that must have a home.
