Well, you sound like a nice guy. But I don't think a man who rapes a woman should have a say. It's a shame the way the world is going. There are plenty of adoption agencies that will gladly give these baby's a home instead of killing them before they are born and in some cases killing them at birth.
Back in my younger years, early 20's when my testosterone were raging my girlfriend became pregnant and she didn't tell me. She had an abortion without telling me. I found out from friends. We did go our separate ways later. To this day, and I'm in my 70's, when abortion is mentioned I still think of what kind of daughter / son we would have had. So this is not a woman's right only, I believe the man has his say in this also. I would have said No to the abortion and if we couldn't afford the new born we'd set up for adoption.
That's true. The man should be punished in this case. The hard decision would then be put on the woman that was raped. Different situations call for different decisions. But for unprotected sex between consensual people and having abortions, that I'm not for. Have the baby and if you don't want it, give it up for adoption.Well, you sound like a nice guy. But I don't think a man who rapes a woman should have a say.
I'd like to tell you off; I'd like to explain how your words disgust me, but have made the decision you are not worth the angst. It's a shame the way the world is going. Mercy sake, I didn't mean to ruffle your feathers. Those are my thoughts in my post and what I believe in. What decisions we all make in life and what we believe in, we will all find out if they were the right ones after we draw our last breath here on this earth. Please calm down and have a nice day, life is too short.I'd like to tell you off; I'd like to explain how your words disgust me, but have made the decision you are not worth the angst.
Couldn't let your narcissistic post go unchallenged and unnoticed however; couldn't allow you to think, by the silence of others so far, that what you say, that a man can stop a woman with his "say" convinces me your opinion is tolerable. It's not. Let's leave it at that, especially given that it is International Woman's Day/Month.
Wouldn't try to change anyone's attitude at this point of my life. That doesn't mean I won't react. In this case with revulsion.
While you're busy setting up adoptions try giving birth. Oh that's right. You can't. Yet you believe you should have control anyway. You don't. Not yet. Sure you'd love to try, and the way things are going you might even get the chance.
It's up to the young women now to reclaim Sovereignty over themselves 'cause I ain't marching anymore.
"Typical male"??? Maybe you need to read my post again. I did not ignore my responsibility. She got the abortion because she didn't want her parents to know she was pregnant. I didn't know either. I still did care for the baby even in my 20's. To this day she also regrets having the abortion. When we're young we all do stupid mistakes. We should have more wisdom as we get older. Enjoy your day.^^^Typical male wanting to place the entire responsibility of pregnancy on women, AFTER he's had his fun and IGNORED his responsibility to prevent unwanted pregnancy. Then he goes on spending a lifetime thinking if only the woman had carried to term then I, the male, wouldn't feel guilty about MY FAILING.
Of course not. But as you see it depends on each case. If people are only too lazy to use contrazeptives and then choose abortion I don't agree.Well, you sound like a nice guy. But I don't think a man who rapes a woman should have a say.
No, we can't march any more, but we can VOTE, I expect to see lots and lots of voting on this. It's up to the young women now to reclaim Sovereignty over themselves 'cause I ain't marching anymore.
Hear hear!Abortion and/or birth control should be a decision between a woman, family, and the doctor....NOT some politicians....IMO.
Yup.Remember this @Sunny?

why would someone from the USA HAVE to fly to France to have an abortion is it illegal in the uSA?..genuinely ,... I don't know , is it ?... it's perfectly legal in the UKAbout going to France, or any other civilized place that protects the right to abortion, that only works for women who can afford the trip. How much would it cost for someone in the U.S. to fly to France and back again? From what I've read, many people are poor enough to make it a real hardship to travel from one state to another, let alone to France.
Not that that is the main point here.
It is legal and the whole thing is rules or limits vary by state.... some have restrictions on time ect. IF someone needs to travel to another state it would be insane to fly to France....why would someone from the USA HAVE to fly to France to have an abortion is it illegal in the uSA?..genuinely ,... right...well I'm happy that's been cleared up because I thought I didn't hear anything about it being banned in the US..It is legal and the whole thing is rules or limits vary by state.... some have restrictions on time ect. IF someone needs to travel to another state it would be insane to fly to France....
you mean not ANOTHER one....Oh no.....please........not an abortion thread........
