Good morning, K-Posse. Finally-a-Friday, as we said back in my 5 day a week working life. I still look forward to weekends, but these days it's because we're more apt to see our kids and grands on weekends. They're all in the busy, busy, busy throes of school, work and life with young families.

I hope this picture brings serenity to your souls. In younger years I didn't realize the value of a peaceful life, but I sure do get it now.

Yes. They are both beautiful.She's more brownish. I am also seeing woodpeckers...I think the "downy" woodpecker.

That's definitely a male downy. The female looks the same except without the small red patch. They're very cute, aren't they.

And I agree that the female cardinal is also beautiful with the red highlights on a tan body.

Are you asking that bird, if he's had a good lunch?:D

Mine was a combination of very late breakfast and lunch,today. I had my cooked oat cereal with pureed dates and flax oil: followed a short time later, by 1 and 1/2 sandwich on soft whole wheat bread, of bean spread and canned chicken and olive oil mayo.

I didn't get to sleep till late last night, after having learned suddenly yesterday, about a new daunting dx for dh. :confused::rolleyes:

So that had thrown my morning off, today, and I'm exhausted this afternoon.
Hoping for a short but restful and healing nap, now.

My short late afternoon nap helped me somewhat.
After it, I washed a few dishes.
Then,
I was able to wash my kitty's ears, and her toes and nails and clip them.

I was then able to do just some of the p.t. but it went surprising well.

Gosh, I hadn't realized that I did that much.

I also moved a few of the items that have been piling up in the wrong places.

How did I do that much and not realize it.

You got some things done; good for you. If I may say....PT is uppermost I would think. You did get some pt .

Rained most of yesterday on and off. Light rain and a little snow this morning. We may get an inch. It must be snowing where you are.

Hope this day is a good one for us All. 🌹

Yes, we got some snow, overnight and this morning. It's what we call a plowable snow. ;)
That would be 4 inches or more.
We got about 6 inches, I would guess.

I realize that it isn;t always easy for you (and for others)
to do either.:confused:

I tried to look at a few other threads, and recently noticed that you are having the difficult breathing issue now, in addition to the other pain and balance ones.
I'm sorry and I hope that they figure out a way to help you with the breathing, Don, and very soon.

And my hopes for everyone else who is reading here, too, to be able to make today as good as possible, each one of you.
 
No four legged friend at the weekend, so yesterday I caught up on housework and as it was such a nice day I got bedding and towels washed and on the line. This morning is a bit overcast so I just had a stroll up to Aldi and got a few bits. Going to make a salad sandwich in a minute then just chill with a book or watch Murder She Wrote... haven't decided yet. :unsure:
