Gentle posts for gentle folks

I appreciate each one of these posts very much, πŸ‘πŸ€©

Including that message, you wrote above,
@PeppermintPatty

And your photos of your walks remind me how much I loved going on camping trips in exact same type of habitats , or nearly exact. ☺️😁

@Medusa
I hope that continues to improve for now and for quite a while.
I know that the p.t.s where I go, treat that condition as well as the neuromuscular ones.
Slow and steady, wins the race. 😊πŸ₯°

Good morning, everyone! I went somewhere yesterday, Kaila, that I know you would have enjoyed and I wish you could have been with me! It was a public gardens area that was in full bloom. Paved walkways, benches, decorative swings... lovely! These aren't my photos, but they show what my garden trip was like.

I managed yesterday, to take myself and husband out for the errand mentioned above ,that most days are not possible for us to do.

Very exhausted afterwards, but mission accomplished. πŸ˜„

This morning, my brain is sloggy and easily confused, but I've managed to get out of bed , drink plenty of water, get dressed, make coffee and cooked cereal.

Outside the window, it's a group of goldfinches. They have nearly their full magnificent summer color, now. 😍

Good morning to each one of you, today!

Hi Kaila and everyone.
I'm finally home from the rehab place. My son and his wife picked me up and brought me home earlier this afternoon they just left but they'll be back to Morrow.

I've made good progress with therapy and I can walk with the Walker but I'm not really that strong yet. I still have pain but I have drugs for that And the pain is a lot less than it was before. Even though it's scary in a way to be back on my own it feels so good to be home. My son and daughter in law made me as comfortable as if I had never been injured, got me a burger and fries with coleslaw. She took my laundry and she'll do it for me.

I can't tell you what a trip it's been.

kaila I'm happy to see that you got that errand out of the way although it was exhausting but you made it. πŸ’•

One of you suggested The voice to text mode. I think it was Kate. It can't be used unless it's dead quiet in the room because it picks up a lot of background noise So now that I'm home I'm trying to use it it's a lot easier.

I'm so glad to be a member of your diary group. Everyone's so nice and supportive feels good. I hope you all had a good Sunday and have a restful evening love to everyone.

Kaila, when you say you’re going to the fish market, I imagine you have access to lots of fresh fish where you live. Yummy. Mine has to come out of a box from the grocery store.

Rose, so happy to learn that you’re home. It must have felt like forever, though you do appreciate all they’re doing for you. Is your bedroom on the main level? I’m glad your son lives nearby.

Good Morning, Kaila & Friends! Glad to see good news on here. Improvements just take those little steps we were talking about. Monday has always been my favorite day of the week, but now at this time in my life, to be honest it like any other day. With the exception of getting packages delivered from Amazon! Coffee coming today.......... Have an easy day!

Good morning everyone. Just having a little time on here before Rocco arrives. Although his 'mum' is not in work today (Bank Holiday in UK), she asked if I could have him for a few hours while she catches up on a bit of housework. She's going to take him for a walk before bringing him here, which is good, he can sit and watch the snooker final with me. ;)

Good Afternoon Kaila and Friends,
So good to hear that you are back home RadishRose. I am glad you have support from your son and daughter-in-law.
I am also pleased to hear about your improvements Kaila.
If I was closer to you girls, I would not hesitate to help you out.
Such great news!
Here is another take from the "Amazonia" series,

@Jules
Yes I have access to lots of fresh fish, which is fantastic.

It is very very expensive though, even living near the ocean as we do.

It's the most important part of our protein and nutrition and both of us can manage to cook it and chew it, so we prioritize it, in our food spending.
My health requires it, so spend we do. πŸ™„πŸ«£πŸ«’

Thankful we can get it though. πŸ˜πŸ€—β˜ΊοΈ

Editing to add: There are a lot of foods that I am totally unable to eat... it's another reason we spend the high prices for fresh salmon mostly.
