Good Morning, Kaila and Friends.
We have a high of 93F/34C today so it's going to be hot again, albeit slightly less hot than yesterday so, I'll take it.
@Pam, wishing your granddaughter a lovely time at her prom.
The usuals for me today.
Hope everyone woke feel hale and hearty this morning.

How inconvenient, to say the least. I hope it can be taken care of, pronto!Good morning, everyone! I wanted to give a heads up that I may be awol for a little while because of a plumbing nightmare I'm facing this week. Leak under floors, no basement, radiant heat, so no touchy the floors. At one point water came through the floor and ruined my carpeting. Plumbing contractor needs to run all new lines. Anyhow, the water company can't turn off the water tomorrow when they start working, so it needs to be done today.
All that to say I have no idea how long I'll not have water so I have a hotel booked. While I'll be here when the workers are in the house, not sure I'll be posting much. Can ya'll tell I'm a tad (did she say A TAD??!!) overwhelmed?
In any case, I'm sure you'll all stay out of trouble, right?![]()

Thank you but I'm not sure I want cows in my
Glad to hear things are getting better. My next update is that I'm finally learning gradually,
to chew additional very soft foods.
It's a relief to widen the range, however small.
This morning, for example, I could eat cut pieces of ripe banana on my cooked cereal, instead of having to mash it first, which I've been needing to do.![]()
I can now, slowly manage to eat small bites of soft wheat bread, without thoroughly soaking it in clear broth first.
Btw, I had more complex dental surgery than fillings, so you will not have this level of difficulties after your fillings, @Medusa

The meds. worked and my head feels better. Thank you, @Kaila.Good afternoon to all of you, here.
And welcome to this thread @Babs2u
I hope that you are recovering from your hospital difficulties, last weekend.
French toast sounds wonderful, @RadishRose
Perhaps that is in my future as well.
Meanwhile I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying anything that that you enjoy.
I hope that your headache responds quickly and fully to the med. @Medusa
Otherwise, we know that they are so wearing.
I understand that those potted plants do need lots of frequent watering, especially those veggies that your husband is looking forward to, once they've been planted.
At least maybe your dear dog Lucius might not need to be watered today.![]()
