Good Morning, Kaila and Friends. πŸ€—:coffee:🌻

We have a high of 93F/34C today so it's going to be hot again, albeit slightly less hot than yesterday so, I'll take it.

@Pam, wishing your granddaughter a lovely time at her prom. ☺️

I'm glad that I'm able to picture more clearly in my mind now, your outdoor times with Lucius. 🀩
Part of your daily usuals. ☺️
And the sweet, funny pup.

Hello to each one of you.

It's another very hot and humid day. I thought it is supposed to moderate.

Now I think it's tomorrow that will feature lower temp and lower humidity.
Sounds good to me.

I had very low strength and stamina this morning, and I was confused whether to dress warm or cool. πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«what to put on...πŸ€”πŸ™„

Managed to get myself dressed and outside, for a very short time, enjoyed tending a couple of our plants there. πŸ˜€

While outdoors, it rained on me, twice. πŸ™ƒπŸ˜ŠπŸ€£
And I was not dressed for rain,
But I didn't care after all. β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜πŸ˜„πŸ™ƒπŸ˜…

The success was getting myself outdoors and doing something that I enjoy and that's productive. πŸ€©πŸ€—

Now it's sunny and hot and humid out there, but I'm indoors, where I should be on a hot, humid day like today. 😊

Good morning, everyone! I wanted to give a heads up that I may be awol for a little while because of a plumbing nightmare I'm facing this week. Leak under floors, no basement, radiant heat, so no touchy the floors. At one point water came through the floor and ruined my carpeting. Plumbing contractor needs to run all new lines. Anyhow, the water company can't turn off the water tomorrow when they start working, so it needs to be done today. πŸ₯Ί

All that to say I have no idea how long I'll not have water so I have a hotel booked. While I'll be here when the workers are in the house, not sure I'll be posting much. Can ya'll tell I'm a tad (did she say A TAD??!!) overwhelmed?

In any case, I'm sure you'll all stay out of trouble, right? :giggle:

How inconvenient, to say the least. I hope it can be taken care of, pronto!

Good Morning, Kaila and Friends. πŸ€—:coffee:🌻

According to the predictions, it's going to be hot today, but slightly less so with a high of 91F/33C and a 50% chance of rain. That rain would definitely be welcome! Maybe I won't have to water the dog before each walk today. Boxer.jpgwatering can.png

Boyfriend is away travelling πŸšƒ for the next six days so our communication, while still open, will be curtailed quite a bit while he's enjoying and interacting with family.

Husband is working a closing shift so he'll be in late tonight.

The usuals for me today. :) Cept, hey, when I cleaned the kitchen (doing any dishes, wiping down counter and stove, etc.) this morning while waiting for my coffee, I finally managed to add in a quick sweep and mop of the floor. That's been a thing I've been trying to get into my routine. So, you know, yay!

@Kaila, happy for you in getting outside to enjoy your plants and some fresh air, yesterday. :) Hoping for more stamina for you today. :)

@CallMeKate, can I just say: That Sucks! :( Ugh. You will be missed while you're dealing with this issue. Sending positive vibes!

Hope everyone woke feeling good this morning. πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•

I cannot promise that we'll behave ourselves and stay out of trouble;
However, I can assure you that we willmiss you and think of you, and sending you manyπŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•.

Very sorry you are going thru all of that!

Now you behave and make the carrots last till you come back to let us know your update.
Don't eat all of them on 1 day. πŸ˜πŸ˜†πŸ€©πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

My update:
After a difficult week, I did manage to get to P.T., this morning. And it was very helpful.
Whew.
They do know how to help me there, even though my conditions are very difficult.
And the improvements are slow and in small increments.

I'll be back here, later. πŸ˜€πŸ€©πŸ₯°

My next update is that I'm finally learning gradually,
to chew additional very soft foods.
It's a relief to widen the range, however small. πŸ™‚

This morning, for example, I could eat cut pieces of ripe banana on my cooked cereal, instead of having to mash it first, which I've been needing to do.🍌 πŸ‘

I can now, slowly manage to eat small bites of soft wheat bread, without thoroughly soaking it in clear broth first. πŸ˜ƒ

Btw, I had more complex dental surgery than fillings, so you will not have this level of difficulties after your fillings, @Medusa

Glad to hear things are getting better. πŸ€—

Yay to more solid food!! Glad things are progressing for you @Kaila even it's small. It's still progress. When I had my teeth pulled and had new dentures I had to learn to eat with them. It was miserable. I made brownies one night and I was so hungry I couldn't eat them fast enough. :ROFLMAO:

Sorry to hear about your plumbing nightmare. Hope it can be resolved quickly.

Can't promise to stay out of trouble though.

@CallMeKate , so sorry about your water troubles! What a nightmare.
@Kaila , good you got outside and your pt is always so helpful.

60's today, and rain expected. Again. French toast for breakfast.

Thinking of every one of you dear people πŸ’• πŸ’• πŸ’•

Good Morning, Kaila and Friends. πŸ€— :coffee:🌻

It's predicted to be a nice day today with a high of 76F/25C and a 40% chance of rain. 🌦️ My husband told me that when he woke, a bit earlier than me this morning, it was 63F/17C outside, which is freaking lovely.

The dog, the potted plants and I could use the break! The plants, my husband's tomatoes, cucumbers, flowers, etc., have required watering twice daily in the extreme heat.

I have a woken with a bit of a headache this morning, but thankfully, I have meds. for this and it's just a matter of motivating myself to take one, already.

@CallMeKate, hoping your plumbing issue is being resolved.

@RadishRose, enjoy your French Toast!

Many πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯• to everyone!

Good afternoon to all of you, here. πŸ™‚

And welcome to this thread @Babs2u
I hope that you are recovering from your hospital difficulties, last weekend.

French toast sounds wonderful, @RadishRose
Perhaps that is in my future as well.
Meanwhile I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying anything that that you enjoy.
☺️🀩πŸ₯°

I hope that your headache responds quickly and fully to the med. @Medusa
Otherwise, we know that they are so wearing.

I understand that those potted plants do need lots of frequent watering, especially those veggies that your husband is looking forward to, once they've been planted.

At least maybe your dear dog Lucius might not need to be watered today. 😊😁

The meds. worked and my head feels better. Thank you, @Kaila. πŸ€—

It was nice not to need to water the dog this morning! :ROFLMAO: I actually wore my mucking boots and took an umbrella on the first walk.

Thank you for creating and maintaining this lovely, peaceful space for us, @Kaila ❀️

After my very good session at P.T., yesterday morning, I had made a start in the afternoon,
on a project at home , of sorting old things that are needed to be discarded from a closet.

I had hoped to continue a small bit on that, today, but as with my usual extreme low strength and stamina, I found myself running on zero today.

I'm barely able to do the most basic of actions today, so all else will have to be put on hold again.
Frustrating, but oh well.

I'm doing better than I was back in January, when I arrived back home,
I remind myself, but there's so far to go for me to just be able to do a little more.

With such extreme limitation, it's hard to remember to appreciate the progress.
But I try.

Looking out the window, it's a grand day.
There's a small tree that's gotten a growth spurt, which i love to witness.
No one else seems to notice.
Yet to me, it feels significant.
I like that about myself. ☺️

What? You need an umbrella when you water your dog?πŸ€”πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ«£

πŸ˜€πŸ˜πŸ˜„

You're welcome! And thank you, and each one, for maintaining it, too.🀩πŸ₯°πŸ€©πŸ₯°

Thanks for that needed laughter, @Medusa
πŸ‘πŸ˜

However, I suggest rigging up a shower curtain in a full circle, hanging from the edges of your umbrella, with a top flap so nothing can get in or out.
