The weather was so nice on the second Lucius walk that I didn't need even a sweater. Is it weird that I felt a little exposed? :oops:

@Kaila, hoping you're getting some well-deserved rest after your stressful few days. 🤗

@CallMeKate, sorry about your gross breakfast; I've had those overnight oatmeal things with similar results. I think it's one of those "sounds good on paper" ideas. Bleck.

Hello to all of my friends, here.
💗💗💗

It feels like I'm going to need more than 1 recovery night or day, after that week I had. 🙄🫤

Especially since I was Not able to solve those issues ....still hanging over me, and with time pressures.

But I Am trying to relax myself, as much as I can.

I tried to find some info this morning, to help figure out some plan of action on a new source of medical supplies, but did not succeed with that. :(

But I will solve it,somehow, and it won't help for me to unravel in the meantime.
So I'll try to calm myself. 🫤

Gentle hugs and gratitude, for each one of you. ☺️🤩🥰

I’m a bit jealous of your current weather Medusa. Today it snowed wet snow all afternoon. I wore my extra warm parka coat with a hood..

I hope you had a nice day at work.

Today I fell asleep in my chair while watching TV. I stayed sleeping while my husband checked my blood pressure. Note: it’s very unusual for me to sleep during something like getting my blood pressure taken. My husband kept trying to wake me up but was unsuccessful.

@PeppermintPatty, I so feel you on ruining your bedtime in some way! I hate that too. Hopefully, you'll be back on schedule tonight.

I must dash as I'm a very busy woman, playing AC, hanging out with boyfriend and watching shows. 😅 ( I do get things accomplished during the first half of the day, I swear.)

Hello to all of you, friends here.

I'm still struggling, but hoping that you'd like to see a hello post from me, anyway.
I am feeling the weight of some stressors, today.

And the weather is poor....a mixture of rain and snow, with ice 😬 and grey sky, all day long,
and dense fog moving in. 🤨

I dearly hope that tomorrow morning is not frozen ice on the outdoor surfaces.

I have a regular p.t.scheduled with my familiar physical therapist, tomorrow, Monday morning;
and I can't wait to see the smile on that girl's face.
(She's a young woman, but you know what I mean😉😀)

The goldfinches here, this morning, were so very good for me to see, and the males are definitely getting more yellow on their backs, in between the darker shades!

I also saw 1 male eastern bluebird, at the feeder.
Let us know if you see one!
If so, such big news should be shared on every single sf thread!🫠😁🥰

You know, my husband said he saw one when we were both looking out the slider just this morning and tried to point it out to me, but I missed it. Anyway, I'm excited that one was around! :) :) It is really fun watching the goldfinches come into their color!

Hoping your physical therapy goes really well tomorrow! 🤗

Good morning, everyone! I had quite a night... storms and immediately after a gigantic boom, everything went dark. Apparently a transformer was struck. Thankfully the power was restored before morning.

Yes, Kaila, washer arrived the next day and I've done a number of loads already. Advancing technology has sure made appliances more difficult to operate! I couldn't believe how many settings there are. Not just cold, warm, or hot any longer. Now there's a "tap-cold," "cold," "cool," "warm," and "hot." About a dozen cycle settings, different water levels or auto level. I guess choosing a water temperature and load size and then starting it is a thing of the past. :rolleyes:

Good morning @Kaila and co. I managed to get Rocco up and down the street which is an improvement on yesterday. The arthritis in my knee has really been playing up the past couple of days and I couldn't walk any distance at all, couldn't have my usual five minute stroll to Aldi and going up and down the stairs I was walking like a crab 🦀😁. So yesterday I just put my feet up and kept applying a cold compress, also applied one first thing this morning. Fingers crossed it will keep improving.

Grandson is on a day off today so he's texted to say he'll be popping round in the next half hour or so. He's going to move a couple of things for me while he's here.

@CallMeKate - my washer is ancient but still working. I'm dreading the day I have to replace it, for the same reasons you have mentioned. Technology can be wonderful but sometimes it can be a pain.

Okay, going to apply another compress and put my feet up. Now I've got a good excuse to do just that. 😁

@Pam- I tried quoting your post but made a huge mess of it . I’ am glad your compresses worked out well for you.

@CallMeKate - Glad your power wasn’t off for very long and that you like your new washing machine.

@Medusa - I’m glad you and your husband are noticing the changing colour of the gold finches.

I slept quite well last night and am just getting ready to go for a walk with our dogs. I’m hoping everyone has a lovely Monday.
