The 'line' you are looking for is different from mine or anyone else's. Your line, like all others', is where you find it and are comfortable with that. I was happy with anything that kept me from having to use the public bus and wasn't a 'hey, look at me car'. I did not need the publicity.Guess you can't take it with you, but where do you draw the line?

My youngest son, mid thirties, is still single as well. I think this younger generation has a different mindset. He travels a bit and has close friends. Happy is as happy does. One of my kids is still single, approaching his 40th before he knows it. He's had good jobs, and he has a 2nd car not quite approaching that category. I worry a little but he's supporting himself and not in any kind of trouble. So I don't offer unsolicited advice.
No. Although it would be nice to carefully drive it around the block.Yours?
My apologies - I reread the post and it sounds like I bought the car. It was meant to be more of a pondering on how people, a lot of times men, try to recapture their glory days.I was going to say, so buy a new car but I see you already did.![]()

No worries. It’s still a nice car and since it’s not yours, I shall hop in and drive awayMy apologies - I reread the post and it sounds like I bought the car. It was meant to be more of a pondering on how people, a lot of times men, try to recapture their glory days.![]()
