Hanging A New Shower Curtain

Now this is probably no big deal for the ladies, but for a single guy like me it was a major chore that took for ever to complete. The new curtain that I picked out at Bed & Bath was to go in the second bathroom of my apartment. Part of my problem was just opening the heavy plastic covering on the shower rings without lacerating my fingers or hand and then having to switch the plastic liner to the correct side of the shower curtain. I am so proud of my self that I think I will alternate from one day to the next using a different shower so that I can fully appreciate my efforts.

Those thick heavy plastic packages frustrate the devil out of me, Lon. Sometimes I get a knife or screw driver when scissors won't work. I get so irritated I want to throw the item across the room, but that's good money wasted.

Some shower curtains are so heavy....I've actually used liners as a shower curtain several times, especially in nicer weather when I can open the bathroom window and get good ventilation.

I just drop them on the floor and wait. In about two hours, the cats will have shredded it open for me.

I don't have a window in our bathroom. I just have one of those tornados in a box on the ceiling.

My nephew recently could not find one of his hearing aids. Eventually, it turned up behind some furniture, left there by the CAT, who had carried it off a dresser, and DESTROYED it by chewing it to shreds! Dan said the thing's little-bitty guts were all hanging out of it! imp

One of the kittens got hold of hubby's hearing aid once. Yow!! Scared me to death. Luckily it wasn't maimed and it was fully intact and still worked just fine.

Bwahahahaha! Ingenuity wins again!

Lon, if you are talking about opening the rings to get the curtain onto them, I agree. They are too hard to open and just about time I get them open, they pop back shut again. Then I have to push really hard to get them snapped. All the while standing with my head tilted back as far as it will go. I hate doing that.
